Things I Wanna Start Doing Again

I really want to get back into reading!  I used to read, literally every day.
I'd read while eating breakfast.  I'd curl up in a lawn chair on the front porch,
in the afternoon, while sipping a Fanta Orange and soaking up some much needed
sun, while devouring the latest book I was reading.  It was so damn relaxing and
peaceful.  There's just something about hearing the birds chirping while you're
reading that makes it feel like pure paradise.  Then my attention span went to
shit and I started reading less and less.  So yeah, I want to make a super conscious
effort to incorporate it back into my daily routine.

Also I really miss playing with my dolls (it's not just for kids, peeps, k?).  So what
else is on the list of "Things I Wanna Start Doing Again"?  Actually studying my

languages instead of just planning to, especially French!!!

Hello There, Old Friend!

My elemental shaman, named Hathor.

Well, after a four year long hiatus, I've returned to World of Warcraft.  Seems like it's been forever the first time I played when I came back.  Omg, my poor noob again brain!  I quickly remembered how everything worked within just hours and now I'm almost back to my normal geeky self, haha.

After carefully researching a realm, I began to play on Alliance as I mostly had before and met a new online friend in the process.  xD  Then I wound up carefully researching another realm to play Horde on and that seems to be all I play now.

I go back and forth farming stuff to make money on in the auction house to establish myself on this new (for me) server and leveling toons.  All in all, I can wholeheartedly say I had really missed this game and am so glad to be back!  It feels like coming home again.

As for my other games, I'm a bit freaked out cause I haven't touched my Switch since I came back to WoW and I'm kinda ashamed that I haven't been balancing my gaming time better.  I figure once the newness of being back wears off I'll get better balanced.

It's good to be back.  FOR THE HORDE!!!

It’s So Weird

I’ve been having a rough time with my depression.  Slowly but surely I’m trying to come out of it.

I came across a post announcing the death of my ex a couple of days ago.  It’s so weird.  It doesn’t seem real that he’s gone.  He and I almost got married, but called it off two days before and a week or two later we broke up for the last time (we had went out once before).  The last time I talked to him was 4 years ago on Facebook during the time my grandpa was in the hospital right before he passed away.  Then in 2017 I heard The Cure- Love Song (our song) and thought of him, so I told him that in a fb message.  I looked back at that message and it looks like he never read it.  It didn’t look like he’d been on fb for a long time.  I’m still processing this...

Maybe I can take this and turn it into something positive, like a kick in the ass to get motivated and start being productive again.  Life is way too damned short for me to be letting depression win.  I just have to find my way back, somehow, some way.

I’ll always love you sweet cheeks.  ❤️

Lang Jam

Lang Jam, also known as Language Jam, is an online event in the language community that takes place 3-4 times a year.  You sign up by hitting the "register" button on the Language Jam website and you are given a password.  When it's time you come back to the website and enter your password and you're given a language and if you don't like the first language you are given you have the chance to get a second one to choose from.  Then on the designated weekend you study the language you were given as little or as much as you heart desires and you can share your studies on different various social medias and there's also a language chat on the website to engage in.

I signed up a few days ago and if you have a love for foreign languages or even just an inkling of a crush, you should check it out!

@lingudendron (on Instagram) created the website and this wonderful challenge!
